Obituary of Hilda Sims

Hilda Sims Hilda Sims, age 75, 660 Providence Rd, Harrodsburg, widow of Robert B Sims, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at her home in Harrodsburg, KY. Born September 22, 1929 in Mercer Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Delbert and Reva (Stratton) Robinson. She was retired after 27 years with South Central Bell as a service representative. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Choir and W.M.U. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers Survivors include: two sons: Robert Bruce (Deborah) Sims of Hendersonville, TN, and Delbert Stephen (Beth) Sims of Harrodsburg, KY; three sisters: Doris (Foster) Sims of Danville, KY, Emma (John) Lay of Danville, KY, Frances (John) McClure of Prospect, KY; and one brother: Thomas E. “Buddy” Robinson of Lexington, KY; two Grandsons, Robert Blair Sims and Johnathan Drew Sims. Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Saturday Feburary 26, at the Bethel Baptist Church by David Culp, John Cato and Lester Tirey with burial to follow in the Bethel Baptist church Cemetery . Visitation will be Friday, February 25 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM untill Noon at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice or Gideon Bible Fund.
