Eunice B. Cocanougher, 97, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of William Debo Cocanougher, died Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born February 6, 1926, in Boyle County, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Burnett and Vicie (Bottom) Best. She was a retired American Greetings employee and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, James C. Cocanougher of Danville, KY and William D. "Junior" (Ruth Ann) Cocanougher of Harrodsburg, KY; three grandchildren, Lori Murphy, Jamie Peavler, and Amber Peavler; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jana Gayle Harbolt, two grandchildren, Don Allen Peavler and Wm. Dennis Cocanougher, as well as several siblings.
Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, June 29, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry D. Camic. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville, KY. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 12 Noon, Thursday, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers are Jamie Peavler, Ronnie Best, Richard Hayden, Lee Thompson, Troy McGinnis, David Harbolt, and William Powell.
