It was so nice of Teresa (niece) to drive us to Lexington to visit Betty. Tom was so happy to visit his sister as he had not seen her in a long time.
Betty was in a very good mood and she entertained us in her room with the help of Susan (daughter).
We all laughed and joked and then Tom sang Betty an Elvis song.
Very good happy memories to cherish.

It is with great sadness that I send my condolences to the family of this lovely lady. Betty lived across the hall from my father, Polie Stratton during her stay at the Willows. Betty possessed a strong and delightful spirit. She was always genuinely concerned for her fellow resident and uplifted us in our times of distress. She will be missed by all.
My family has been blessed by knowing her.

Betty was one of the kindest women I have ever come to know in my life. The nights she sat up late telling me all about her children and how proud she was of them, and giving me advice on how to navigate my way through life will never be forgotten. I pray that I always carry myself the way that she has. I’m sending so many thoughts and prayers to her family and friends, as I know losing someone amazing is one of the hardest things in life. She walks with you everywhere you go.

Betty was such a kind hearted lady, I’ll always remember her walking down the halls getting her steps sometimes she had me join in and we had some good talks. She always made everyone around her laugh as well. Rest easy sweet lady, prayers for family.

I want to express my deepest sympathy in the passing of Betty. She was one of the first people I met when my mom, Ms. Ava, came to The Willows. Although she was in Personal Care and mom was in Skilled Nursing, Betty would come almost everyday to check on her. She was one of the sweetest, nicest and most loving ladies I have ever known. I will miss seeing her and talking with her. My daughters also thought a lot of her and were constantly asking about her. We will keep the family in our prayers!!

I will always remember the last words she told me “ I Love You”. It was a pleasure to be able to take care of Betty and become close to Susan! They become family! Many prayers
