Obituary of James Floyd Wilcher Jr.

James Floyd “Jim” Wilcher, Jr., 77, Harrodsburg, KY, died Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born April 25, 1946, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late James Floyd Sr, and Dorothy Wilcher. Jim retired as a Supervisor for Northpoint Training Center and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #777 F&AM. He was also a United States Navy Veteran. Jim also had a passion for karaoke.
Survivors include: his son: Chris Wilcher of Lexington, two step sons: James Louallen Jr. and Brian D. Louallen; four grandchildren, two sisters, Sandy Sanders and Diane Cook.
There will be a Memorial Gathering for Jim, 5 - 8 PM; Tuesday, July 11at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
