Calvin L. Darnall, 76, Salvisa, KY, husband of Rita Montgomery Darnall, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell - James B Haggin Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY. Born June 18, 1947, in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late David Edwin and Dorothy (Bunton) Darnall. He was a retired Electrician for Hitachi Mfg., was a member of Member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ, and was a US Navy Veteran. Calvin loved working on his tractors, fishing & gardening, watching old westerns, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids.

Other survivors include: two daughters, LeAnn (Paul) Snowdy of Somerset, KY and Kellie (Mark) Marsee of Burgin, KY; three sons, Mark (Lisa) Darnall of Salvisa, KY, David (Bonnie) Darnall of Lawrenceburg, KY and Ernie (Shannon) Hopkins of Burgin, KY; one brother, Tim (Phyllis) Darnall of Salvisa, KY; grandchildren, Taylor (Grant), Lee, Holly (Dylan), Ethan, Jacob, Shelby Lynn, David, Eastin, Sarah (John), Matthew (Samantha); great grandchildren, Kaysen, Hadley, Brayden, Amelia, John Luke, Colton, Zoey, & Emma; his faithful dog, Maggie.

Funeral services 2:00 PM, Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Friday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

Pallbearers are: Paul Snowdy, Mark Marsee, Lee, Ethan, and Eastin Hopkins, and David Darnall.
