John A Brock, 87, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Norma Grimes Brock died Friday, September 15, 2023, at his home. He was born June 21, 1936, in Georgetown. He was the son of the late John and Rose (Mefford) Brock. John was a radio personality for 49 years with most of those being at WHBN in Harrodsburg KY. John was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.
Survivors include: Two sons; John M. Brock of Harrodsburg, KY and Mark (Debbie) Brock of Independence, KY; Three Grandsons; David, Nicholas & Andrew Brock. John was preceded in death by his wife Norma Grimes Brock and his two sisters Mary Wainscott and Rose Beck.
Funeral will be held at 11 am September 21st at St. Andrew Catholic Church by Father Edwin Netlas. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: David Brock, Nicholas Brock, Andrew Brock, Chad Stephens, Nick Mullins and Chris Holtzclaw. Honorary Pallbearers: JW Fister and Bill Huff.
