James L. “Jimmy” Lyons, 72, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Mary Beth McKinney Lyons, died Friday, September 15, 2023, at his home. Born November 27, 1950, in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Ben Allen and Jean (Young) Lyons. He was a retired Warehouse Operator for Corning Inc. and attended St. Andrew Catholic Church. Other survivors include: one daughter, Lisa (David) Lyons Coleman of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, John (Beth) Lyons of Georgetown, KY; one sister, Benita Lyons Deyo of Danville, KY; one brother, Allen Thomas "T.T." (Theresa) Lyons of NC; four grandchildren, Kyle (Andrea) Lyons, Jackson Lyons, Jacob & Luke Coleman. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tues., Sept. 19, 2023, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Fr. Danny Schwendeman and Fr. Edwin Netlas. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: Kyle and Jackson Lyons, Jacob and Luke Coleman, Michael and Shawn Click, and Devin Reul. Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel, where expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com.
