Obituary of Laura Schuster Anness

Laura Schuster Anness, 63, Danville, KY, widow of Tommy Anness, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born August 15, 1960, in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of Nancy (Rueff) Schuster and the late Robert E. Schuster. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Laura was a loving mother who enjoyed time with her family and friends, as well as fishing. Survivors include: one son, Brett (Stephanie) Anness of Danville, KY; her mother Nancy (Rueff) Schuster; four sisters, Theresa Meiners, Kathy Noel, Sarah (Howard) Morrison and Angie (Joe Bill) Lance, and three brothers, Greg Schuster, Mark (Susie) Schuster and Steve Schuster; one grandchild, Austin Anness. Laura was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Scott Anness. A Gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Burial will be held later at the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Memorials are suggested to St. jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
