Obituary of Robert C. Robinson

Robert C. Robinson, 89, Danville, KY, husband of Mary Josephine Harris Robinson, died Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the The Willows at Harrodsburg. Born January 8, 1934, in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Tilford and Geneva (Hendren) Robinson. He was a former Foreman for Peter Kiwits Construction, retired from Whirlpool Corp. after 25 years, and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Other survivors include: two daughters, Rhonda (Don) Huffman of Harrodsburg, KY and Sandy (Terrell) Royalty of Harrodsburg, KY; two step sons, A. J. (Gayle) Johnson of Harrodsburg, KY and David Keith (Hyo Chu) Johnson of TN; one sister, Ann (Robert) Woolums of CO and one brother, Randall (Shirley) Robinson of Lawrenceburg, KY; Grandchildren, Rob & Amanda Huffman, Kristy (Matt) Robison, and T. J. (Laura) Royalty; Step Grandchildren, Jeremy (Claire) Johnson and Ben (Sarah) Johnson; eight great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Carroll Robinson and one brother Ralph Robinson and one sister, Zelma Combs. Funeral services 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Camic and Matt Robison. Private burial will be Wednesday, at the Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, KY. Visitation will be 11AM - 1PM Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorials suggested to Gideon International or to Heritage Hospice.
