Thomas Miller Horn III, 81, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Sandra Gayle Horn, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab. Born December 15, 1941, in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Thomas Miller and Lue Avah (Dean) Horn Jr.

Miller was a lifelong farmer. He and his brother worked alongside their father until his death and then alongside their wives ran a dairy, raised tobacco, and ran cattle on Horn Brothers Farms. Workdays were long on the farm as well as their co-ownership in Farmers Tobacco Warehouse and the Garrard Co. Stockyards and later the Boyle Co. Stockyards. Miller was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where he attended the Glad Hand Sunday School Class.

Survivors include: two sons, Steve (Sherry) Horn and Chris (Donna) Horn, both of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Don (JoEllen) Horn of Harrodsburg, KY; four grandchildren, Patrick (Erica) Horn, Harrodsburg, KY; Emily Horn Bottoms, Danville, KY, Austin (Hannah) Horn, Williamsburg, KY, and Logan Horn of Danville, KY; six great grandchildren, Tyson and Felix Edmiston, Ellise Sue Bottoms, Casandra Aeryn Horn, Ryatt Patrick Horn, and Baylor Ann Bottoms.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 8:00 AM until the hour of service Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

Pallbearers: Steve, Chris, Patrick & Erica Horn, Emily Horn Bottoms, Austin, Hannah, Logan, Chad, & Derek Horn. Honorary bearers: Don & JoEllen Horn, Dan & Mary Thompson Vandivier, Ben Vandivier, Lauren Vandivier Ford, Paul Blacketer, Roger Tuggle, Edwin Riley, Greg Anderson and James Wheeler.
