Debra “Debbie” Waggener, 56, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Joshua "Josh" Waggener, died Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Lexington, KY. Born January 15, 1967, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was the daughter of Terrance Wayne "Terry" Rogers, Harrodsburg, and the late Beverly Ann (Judge) Rogers. She was a retired Paramedic with Boyle Co. EMS after 20 years of service, had previously worked with Garrard Co. and Mercer Co. EMS, and was a former volunteer fire fighter for Mercer Central and Burgin Fire and Rescue. Following retirement, Debbie became a Flight Paramedic for Air Evac Lifeteam.
Other survivors include: three sons, Levi (Courtney) French and Lane French, both of Harrodsburg, KY and Justin Waggener of Burgin, KY; two brothers, Tony (Tammy) Rogers and Mike (Jeanette) Rogers, both of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Ayden, Eli & Olivia French, all of Harrodsburg, KY.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Dan Durham. Burial with First Responder Honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday and 8:00 AM until the hour of service Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers: Jeff Russell, Andrew Green, Patrick Branam, Logan Steele, Mark Wilkes, Anthony Godbey and Chuck Maynard.
