Gladys Marie Jackson, 88, Harrodsburg, KY, died Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Landmark of Danville. Born October 23, 1935, in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Gritton and the late Mercer Mae (Huffman) Potts. She was a retired Inspector for Corning Glass and was a member of Southside Christian Church. Survivors include: two sons, Wayne Thomas (Connie) Jackson of Harrodsburg, KY, Milton Daniel (Pam) Jackson, Lancaster, KY; three grandchildren, Amber Jackson, Miles (Sarah) Jackson, and Cory (Emily) Jackson; two step grandchildren, Kelsey (Tyler) Stout-Prouty and Thair (Holly) Stout; ten great grandchildren. Funeral services 2 PM,Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Wendell Johnson. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 11 AM until 2 PM, Thursday, Ransdell’s. Pallbearers are: Miles Jackson, Cory Jackson, Glave Burton, Eddie McGinnis, Thair Stout, Brenson Stout and Jude Cravey. Jerry Vance, Amber Jackson, Nancy Cornish and Kelsey Strout-Prouty are to serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Hospice, 120 Enterprise Dr., Danville, KY 40422.
