Mark David Krentz, 71, Danville, KY, husband of Valerie (Barnett) Krentz, died Sunday, December 10, 2023, at his home. Born December 28, 1951, in Kenosha, WI, he was the son of the late Richard and Clara (Pfeiffer) Krentz. Mark was graduate of Plantation High School in Florida, where he was a star football player. He was also a catcher for a local team there and was an avid fisherman.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Whitney (Matthew) Florian of Danville, KY; one sister, Nancy Krentz Upthegrove of Deland, FL; one brother, Alan (Judy) Krentz of Rineyville, KY; four grandchildren, Briana, Haeven, Myah, & Bella Florian. Mark was preceded in death by two infant sons, David & Richard Krentz, and a sister, Ardel Krentz.

Private graveside services will be held.
