Obituary of Ava Jewell Elliott

AVA ELLIOTT Ava Jewell Elliott, 91, of East Office Street, died Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center. Born September 5, 1911 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Flora Bruner Bottom. She was the widow of Lee Elliott. She was a retired seamstress for Cricketeer and a member of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Bill (Joyce) Elliott, Harrodsburg; one daughter, Patsy June Elliott, FL; two sisters, Ressie Bailey, Harrodsburg and Vernetta Hall, Lexington; four grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee Elliott and a sister Nellie Lester. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Robert DeFoor officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Elliott, Bobby Lee Elliott, John D. Elliott, Bobby Elliott III, Patrick Elliott and John-John Elliott. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
