William Westley “Wes” Baker, 51, Harrodsburg, KY, died Monday, January 8, 2024, at home his. Born November 1, 1972, in Mt. Vernon, KY, he was the son of the late William Larry and Judy Ann (Renner) Baker. Wes was a US Army & Navy Veteran, having been honorably discharge as a noncommissioned officer. He received several decorations while serving, including NCO Professional Development, Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge, and Parachutist & Air Assault Badge.
Survivors include: two sons, Logan Alexander Baker and Landon Westley Baker, both of Enterprise, AL; one sister, Amy (Will) Davis of Harrodsburg, KY; a nephew, Trent (Alexis) Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted by Mike Doyle, 1:00 PM Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. A private burial with Military Honors will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be 11AM - 1PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers are: Will Davis, Trent Davis, Josh Belding, Zach Belding, Chris Baker and Jared Hoskins.
