Beulah M. Hourigan, 72, Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her home. Born July 27, 1951, in Boyle County, KY, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Lucille (Berger) Johnson. She was a retired Custodian for Harrodsburg Christian Church, where she was also a member. Beulah enjoyed playing Rook with her sisters & shopping at Goodwill.
Survivors include: one daughter, Marsha (Mark) Cheak Lyons of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, Troy (Michelle) Cheak of Harrodsburg, KY; three sisters, Martha Harlow, Glenna Sallee and Sue Lamb; grandchildren, Megan & Adam Flora, Aaron Walls, and Jordan & Mason Cheak; great grandchildren, Journey Howard, Olivia Worley, and Waylon Walls; her special dogs, Sandy & Roxie Cheak. Beulah was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jonah Cheak, and two sisters, Helen Whittaker & Nora Sims.
Funeral services 1:00 PM, Wed., Feb. 7, 2024, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Derek Baker. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers are: Aaron Walls, Adam Flora, Mason Cheak, Mark Lyons, Junior Sanders, and Gabriel Logue. Honorary bearers will be Megan Flora, Jordan Cheak, Journey Howard, Olivia Worley, Waylon Walls, David Cheak, and Joe Lanham.
