Jean Marie (Graham) Knose, 81, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, formerly of Ross, Ohio, died February 7, 2024 at Landmark of Danville in Danville, Kentucky.
She was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania on February 14, 1942, to Bessie and Richard Graham. Jean was raised by her foster mother, KeturaOroak. She worked for Cincinnati Bell as a telephone operator before marrying her husband, Jack Knose, who she was married to for 54 years.
Jean was survived by her husband, Jack Knose; Daughter, Julie (Pam) Knose; Sister Theresa Graham Lanham; Brother-In-Law Jim (Judy) Knose; Sister-In-Law Claudette Kirby; Nieces and Nephews Greg Knose, Carol Knose Renner, Deana Kirby Patton, Jessica Lanham and Shawn (Chrissy) Lanham.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, foster mother and stepmother Sue Graham whom she loved as her mother and who held a very special place in her life, and her nephew Aaron Kirby.
Jean was a faithful member of Harrodsburg United Methodist Church and past member of the Ross Community United Methodist Church in Ross, Ohio prior to moving to Kentucky after retirement. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, vacationing to Gatlinburg and her 3 grand dogs.
Visitation will be held at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg Kentucky 40330 on Saturday February 10th, 2024 from 3pm-6pm. Another visitation will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Highway, Ross, Ohio Monday February 12th, 2024 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral Services with burial to follow at Venice Cemetery, 4033 Layhigh Road, Ross, Ohio on Tuesday February 13th, 2024 at 11am at Charles C. Young Funeral Home.
