Jane Stevens, age 95, of Danville, KY, died Saturday, February 17, 2024, at The Willows at Harrodsburg. Jane was born May 1, 1928 in Salvisa, KY, to the late Jack C. and Mary Willie (Coleman) Garriott. She was a retired Librarian for the Danville School District and was a member of the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Jane was an exceptional cook having co-owned and operated the former Tea Leaf in Danville. She was also an accomplished seamstress and artist.

Survivors include: one daughter, Alexa (Victor) Smith of Dayton, OH, and one son, Jim (Liz) Stevens of Danville, KY; one sister, Ruth "Oopie" Bunton of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren, Heidi (Will Welch) Smith, Logan Smith, Coleman (Shelby) Stevens, Candace Stevens, and Sadie (Cory) Harper; three great grandchildren, Jane Abby, Georgia & Kent Stevens. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Stuart Smith, sisters Trudy & Adele Ransdell, and her twin bother, Jack Garriott.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wed., Feb. 21, 2024, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Brent Rowe. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Wed. from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Coleman Stevens, Todd Allen, Cory Harper, Logan Smith, Victor Smith, and Sonny Ransdell.
