Vergie VanDivier
Vergie VanDivier, age 89, Harrodsburg, widow of Maurice VanDivier, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born February 24, 1916 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Cordie (Tyler) Hungate. She was a retired school teacher from the Hill Top School, and a seamstress at Cricketeer. She was a member of Bruners Chapel Baptist Church where she was active in the Faith Sunday School Class.
Vergie is survived by a son: Barry VanDivier of Harrodsburg, KY; and a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 30 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Greg Humpert and Raymond Watts. Burial will be in the Bruner´s Chapel Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29 after 5:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
