Ann Harney, 77, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Jim Harney, died Monday, February 19, 2024, at their home. Born July 29, 1946, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Harry T. and Jane (Dick) Richart Jr.. Ann was a Reporter for the Advocate Messenger. She was an avid reader and was usually on a computer or loving on her dog, Winston.
Survivors include: husband: James A. Harney; brother: Harry Richart III; Nephews, Matt Richart, Neil Richart and Harry Richart IV. Ann was preceded in death by her sister,
Lisa Pennington.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM; Monday, February 26 at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Salvation Army, 519 S 4th St, Danville, KY 40422.
