Obituary of Patricia Ann Sanders

Patricia Ann Sanders, age 77, of Danville, Kentucky, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Baptist Health of Lexington, KY. Born January 4, 1947 in Norwood, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Woodrow and Virginia (Higginbotham) McCoy. Patricia was employed by Hitachi and was a clerk in retail sales. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, she enjoyed crafts, quilting, and loved playing softball in her younger years. She is survived by one daughter: Kristy Blevins of Danville, KY and one son: Shannon (Tami) Sanders of Wilmore, KY; one sister: Phyllis Carey and two brothers: Tim McCoy and Mike McCoy; She also has four grandchildren: Justin (Emily) Sanders, Kelsey (Brandon) Campbell, Royce Blevins III and Raina Blevins; two Great Grandchildren: Aurora & Miles Sanders. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ricky McCoy, Betty Bell, Mary Leon McCoy and Terry McCoy. Visitation will be Friday April 5,2024 from 5pm-8pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 6 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Harold Best officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville KY. Pallbearers: Brandon Campbell, Shannon Sanders, Royce Blevins III, Justin Sanders, Ricky Carey & David Carey, Matt and Casey McCoy.
