Bernetta “Jane” West, age 82, widower of Delbert West, of Harrodsburg died Monday, April 8, 2024 at Harrodsburg Health & Rehabilitation. Born January 3, 1942 in Lexington, KY, she is the daughter of the late Homer and Georgie (Scott) Barker. Jane was a member of the Jehovah Witness and a retired Hairdresser. She loved to paint, crochet, shop and enjoyed helping the less fortunate every chance she got. The biggest joy she had was spending as much time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as she could.

She is survived by one daughter: Dennise Shewmaker and one son: Ashley (Susan) West; Sister: Ruby Anderson; Grandchildren; Robin Onan, Jimmy Onan, Leann Buck, Daniel Wilcher; Reagan Perez, Madison West and Samantha West; Great Grandchildren; Drew Meaux, Kayleigh Meaux and Khloe Onan.

She is preceded in death by her Son, Bobby Buck and Daughter, Debra Buck. Siblings; Homer Barker Jr., Phil Barker, Charlie Barker, Norma Barker, Joyce Barker and Grandchild, Bobbie Marie Buck.

A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY from 6pm-8pm.
