Arthur Coleman Wilson Arthur Coleman Wilson, age 81, 350 N. Greenville St., Harrodsburg, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at his home. Born March 31, 1924 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late William Douglas and Amelia Cole (VanMeter) Wilson. He was the widower of Joyce Griswold Wilson. Mr. Wilson served during World War II in the U. S. Army. He was a retired IBM supervisor and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church. He was also a member of the VFW Post 3634 and the 274 Armored Division. Survivors include: three daughters: Marecha (Jon) Wolcott of Bowling Green, KY, Patricia Wilson of Harrodsburg, Kimberly (Mark) Corman of Nicholasville, two sisters: Nannie DeLong of Lexington, Gladys Jerrell of WV. Daughter-in-law, Ellen Wilson of Lexington, Grandchildren: Jason Shewmaker, Joy Wolcott, Amanda Roberts, Amber Shewmaker, Christina Wilson, Sandra Wolcott, Andy Wilson, Sarah Shewmaker, Seth Corman, Brady Corman, and Samantha Corman and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Wilson. Pallbearers are: Jon Wolcott, Mark Corman, Doug Wilson, Duane Wilson, Seth Corman, Brady Corman and Andy Wilson. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2005, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Don Chase officiating. Burial will be in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with Military Rites. Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 5-8 PM and Friday prior to Service at Funeral Chapel Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422
