Larry Goodman, 83, widower of Faye McDaniel Goodman, of Harrodsburg, KY, died Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born June 4, 1940, in Ashland KY, he was the son of the late Ike and Opal (Paisley) Goodman. Larry retired from the University of Kentucky Medical Center in the food service department. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed camping. Survivors include: a daughter: Michelle Carmickle of Harrodsburg, KY and a son: Mike Goodman of Simpsonville, KY; two brothers: Ronald "Ron" Goodman and Rick Goodman; he also has seven grandchildren: Britney Carmickle, Jordan Goodman, Beth Carmickle, Tanner Goodman, Joey Carmickle, Madison Goodman and Noah Goodman; three great-grandchildren; Liam Goodman, Lucy Carmickle and Ivy Goodman. Visitation will be 11am – 1 pm Tuesday May 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Funeral Service will be conducted by Lynn Releford at 1 pm Harrodsburg KY. Burial will follow the Burgin Memorial Garden. Pallbearers are: Jordan Goodman, Tanner Goodman, Joey Carmickle, Noah Goodman, Kelly Carmickle and Mike Goodman. Rick & Ron Goodman are to serve as Honorary Bearers. Memorial donations are asked to be sent to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, P.O. Box 41, Harrodsburg, Kentucky 40330.
