Darcye Wohner, age 73, of Harrodsburg died Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg, KY. Born July 11, 1951 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Mary (Lay) Coker. Darcye was a faithful Christian; she grew up going back and forth between Cornishville Christian Church and Cornishville Baptist Church. She was a retired jack of all trades, but more recently a retired childcare provider. She loved spending time with family, shopping and any animal she encountered. She would always end up finding strays when she was out “running errands”, almost as if she was doing it intentionally.

She is survived by one daughter: Carmen (Justin) Dorsey and one son: William "Robbie" (Jennifer) Coker; one sister: Betty Watts; three grandchildren: Mackenzie Carrier, Sierra Ward and Adrianna Boswell; two great grandchildren Kyler Perry and Esmae Ward.

The funeral will be held at 4pm on Friday, August 2 at Randsdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Dan Eades officiating. Visitation will be from 2pm-4pm August 2 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
