Doris Currens, 84, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Eldorse Currens, died Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born March 17, 1940, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Frances (Pinkston) Sheperson. Doris was a Homemaker a member of the Doctor’s Fork Baptist Church

Survivors include: daughter: Cathy Estes (John E. Doyle) of Harrodsburg, KY; one son of Lawrenceburg, KY; one brother: Bobby (Barbara) Sheperson of Perryville, KY. Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Stinnett.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday; August 5 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, conducted by John David Lane. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 10 am - 1 pm Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

Pallbearers will be Terry Currens, Keith Currens, Jeff Currens, Brian Lee Sheperson, Robert L. Sheperson and Jesse Currens. Her Nephews are to serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
