Wanda Jean Drury, age 89, of Harrodsburg KY, died Monday, August 19, 2024 at Baptist Health of Lexington, KY. Born August 13, 1935 in Harrodsburg KY, to the late Frank and Ina Wanda (Stumph) Cornish. She was a homemaker and had farmed much of her life, and was a member of Grapevine Christian Church. Jean enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with family.
She is survived by two daughters: Kelly (Troy) McGinnis and Dana (Kelly) Parker of Harrodsburg, KY, and one son: Patrick Drury of Harrodsburg, KY; two sisters: Frankie (Kenny) Sims of Harrodsburg, KY and Mary Emily Wheeler of Harrodsburg, KY; One daughter In Law, Lou Ann Drury of Harrodsburg, KY; Nine grandchildren; Amber (Paul Smith) Drury, Cara (Tyler) Wilson, Hunter (Ali) Drury, Rebecca Drury, Landon McGinnis, Laci McGinnis, Nicholas (Bailie) Bottom, Keegan Bottom and Nathan (Holly) Parker; Five Great Grandchildren, Bennett, Turner & Rowan Wilson, Hadleigh Drury and Whalen Bottom. She was preceded in death by her son Carroll S. Drury.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Leonard Price and John David Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be from 10am-1pm, Thurs., Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers are grandchildren: Amber Drury, Cara Drury Wilson, Hunter Drury, Rebecca Drury, Nicholas Bottom, Keegan Bottom, Nathan Parker, Landon McGinnis & Laci McGinnis. Honorary Pallbearers are great grandchildren: Rowan Wilson, Bennett Wilson, Turner Wilson, Hadleigh Drury & Whalen Bottom.
