Please share a memory of Larry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Larry Ray Sheperson, 69, of Springdale Arkansas passed away October 1, 2024 after an extended battle with illness. He was born August 9, 1955 in Harrodsburg Kentucky to the late Vincent Sheperson and the late Peggy (Randolph) Smithers. He worked in both the agricultural and construction industries. Larry was a kind man who loved his grandchildren, Kentucky Wildcats basketball, woodworking, fishing, and being in nature. His favorite color was purple and his favorite song was “Free Bird” although you'd often catch him singing “Hello Darlin'”. He could be a little stubborn at times but always had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need. He is survived by his companion Mary Davis of Springdale, Arkansas, his brother Michael Sheperson of Harrodsburg, his son Vincent Blaine Moore of Farmington, Arkansas and Blaine's three daughters Aleigh, Grace and Lilie, his daughter Alma Leigh (Sheperson) Haley, her husband Nicolas and their two sons Zaedyn and Valor of West Fork, Arkansas and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Terry Sheperson & his sister in law, Sherri Click Sheperson, both of Harrodsburg Kentucky. Larry will be sadly missed by his family and friends who are comforted knowing he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior. There will be a memorial service 1PM, Friday, October 11th, 2024, at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion in Harrodsburg Kentucky. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice in Larry’s honor. Arrangements by Ransdell Funeral Chapel, where expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family on Larry’s Tribute Wall at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com
