Obituary of Simonetta M. Britton

Simonetta M. Britton, age 81, of Harrodsburg, KY, widow of John Matthew Britton, died Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center of Danville, KY. Simonetta was born December 22, 1942 in Lincoln County, KY, to the late Frank R. and Lucy Elizabeth (Smith) Muncie. She was a retired Trim Masters Inc. employee, was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #309. Survivors include: two daughters, Tarena M. Ransdell of Harrodsburg, KY and Tellalea K. "Tina" Brown of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, Richard Adams of Nicholasville, KY; two sisters, Sherrie (Johnny) Garner of Crab Orchard, KY and Lena Wilson of Burgin, KY; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony S. Britton, and a brother, Curtis Muncie, and a sister, Phyllis Jean Cromer. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY, by Jim Gilbert. An Order of the Eastern Star Service will begin at 12:45 PM, Wednesday. Burial will follow in the Crab Orchard Cemetery, Crab Orchard, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23 from 11AM - 1PM, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 East Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY.
