Jerry Johnson, age 66, of Harrodsburg died Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Landmark of Danville. Born January 4, 1958 in Lexington, KY to the late Robert and Lillie Mae (Cupp) Johnson. Jerry was a Christian who had recently accepted Christ into his life and heart. He was a hardworking man, who took great pride into every single thing he did, since he was about 14 years old. He loved providing for his family, playing the lottery (a little too much) and he was an avid movie lover.
He is survived by four daughters: Tina Crouch, Dorothy Wells, Angela Cole and Lindsey Strong and three sons: J.R Combs, Russell Strong and Josh Strong; two sisters: Sue Coffey and Brenda Isaacs, and two brothers: David Johnson and Mack Johnson; sixteen grandchildren; Chris (Britta Short) Parker, Josh Watkins, Mikey Powell, Terry Williams, Nick Buckler, Sarah Troxell, Clarissa Loveins, Brittany Cole, Michael Cole, Juanita Cole, Jeremiah Collins Jr., Veronica Sanford, Jay Hess, Olivia Cole, Chloe Cole and Victoria Grimes; and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Daughter; Billie Combs, brother; Howard Johnson, his lifelong partner; Cheryl Hess and grandson; Jade Marti.
