Edath Arlene Parks, age 62, of Lawrenceburg died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Frankfort Regional Medical Ctr. of Frankfort, KY. Edath was born August 9, 1962 in Versailles, KY. She is the daughter of the late Maurice Allen Bowen and Kathalene (Stratton) Bowen, Lawrenceburg. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked 30 years at the UK Medical Center and 5 years for Covenant Health of Texas. She was a Christian and was affiliated with Family Worship Center. Survivors other than her mother include: two sons, Cameron Parks and Cody (Rose Gambino) Parks, Bowling Green, KY; two sisters, Lela Stewart of Lawrenceburg, KY and Pat Tyler, Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Wayne (Ann) Bowen; She also has four grandchildren, Everly Parks, Ella, Hailey, and Luna Gardenbrock. She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Donovan. A memorial service will be held 7pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Terry Morrison officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm-7pm Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Hebron Cemetery Fund, C/O Tia Chilton,1008 Forest Hill Dr. Lawrenceburg KY, 40342.
