Donnie Wayne Baxter, age 71, of London died Thursday, December 5, 2024 at UK Medical Center of Lexington, KY. Born March 6, 1953 in Versailles, KY, to the late Edward Vernon and Christine (Anderson) Baxter. Donnie was retired from Poplar Hill Horse Farm and as a painter for Glidden Paints.
He is survived by; two sisters: Wanda Metcalf of Stonewall, OK and Betty Hicks of Lawrenceburg, KY, and three brothers: Earl (Katherine) Baxter of Alvin, TX, Jay Baxter and Glenn Baxter both of Onalaska, TX. Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Brother, Mike Baxter, Sister, Joyce Baxter, and Sister, Shirley Alsman.
The funeral will be at 1pm on Saturday December 7, 2024, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with James Harley officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, in Harrodsburg KY. Visitation will be Saturday December 7, 2024 from 11am-1pm.
Pallbearers: Scott Phillips, Jamie Baxter, Joshua Baxter, Chris Baxter, John Baltimore and Tom Koos.
Memorials are suggested to be sent to Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St. Harrodsburg KY, 40330; to assist family with funeral expenses.
