William Jeffrey Ryan, better known as “Jeff” or “Cheesey”, of Forkland, KY, 60 year old husband of Susanna Ryan, died Monday, December 16, 2024, at his home in the knobs. Born May 28, 1964, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Ernest William Ryan and Helen Frances Merriman Ryan. Jeff graduated from Harrodsburg High School and was a sales person and serviceman for Horn Home Supply and was a member of Gravel Switch Community Church.

Survivors include his wife: Susanna Overstreet Ryan; two daughters: Heidi (Scott) Lowry and Kimberly (David) Douglas; one sister: Julie Ryan; he also has seven grandchildren, Caleb Lowry, Emily Ryan, Andrew Geis Ryan, Olivia Lowry, Addison Douglas, Madison Robinson and Tatum Douglas; and a great-grandchild: Lacie Jayne Lay. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Chad Ryan, and grandson, Sawyer Currens.

The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Gravel Switch Community Church, 240 Church Street, Gravel Switch, KY with Nelson Reynolds and Olllie Mae Wicker officiating. Burial will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville. Visitation will be 5 - 9 PM, Sunday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY and from 1:00-2:00 pm at the church on Monday.

Pallbearers are Caleb Lowry, Emily Ryan, Andrew Geis Ryan, Olivia Lowry, Addison Douglas, Madison Robinson, Tatum Douglas, Lacie Jayne Lay, Karlee Terral, David Douglas and Scott Lowry. Honorary bearers will be: Tim Horn, Eric Keith, Danny Merriman, Greg Lewis, Roger Middleton, Jason Henniger, Christopher Reynolds, David Vaught, Dave Moore, Scott Sheperson, Bubby Isham, Matt Horn, Perry Buchanan, Cecil Buchanan, Eric Merriman, Jeremy Catlett, Tony Hayden, Tommy Dean, Jordan Darland, Jacob Horn, Brian Smalley, Daniel Wessling and Kent Harley.
