Hettie Bruce Logue, 97, went home to be with the Lord peacefully in her home on the morning of December 20, 2024. Born on March 4, 1927 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Za Thomas and Nellie Bottoms Lester. On July 1, 1947, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” Logue who preceded her in death on April 29, 1993. Hettie loved nothing more than spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers: R.C.Lester and Z.T. Lester and three sisters: Loretta Baker, Marsola Baker and Jewell Huffman Henniger.
