Brenda Sue Prather, 79, Harrodsburg, KY, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born June 24, 1945, in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of Annell Warner Claunch and the late Willie A. Claunch. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kirkwood Baptist Church and Fairview Homemakers. Brenda enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning, UK Basketball and her grand and great grandbabies.

Survivors include her daughter: Cheryl (Jeff) Young of Salvisa, KY; her mother Annell (Warner) Claunch; brother: Darrell (Cindy) Claunch; she also has two grandchildren: grandchild, Jordan (Spencer) Warner and Braden (Caleb) Lawson; three great-grandchildren: Brooks Kain Warner; Brent Kurtis Warner and Hayden Ross Lawson. She was preceded in death by a son, Gaylon Curt Prather, brother, Gaylon Claunch and father, Wille A. Claunch.

The Funeral Service will be held 2:30 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY with Tony Thomspon officiating. Private Burial will take place in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 11am-2:30pm, Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY.

Pallbearers are Spencer Warner, Caleb Lawson, Trenton Claunch, Travis Claunch, Michael Parker and Joe Marshall Warner.
