Mary L. Coker, age 87, 306 E. Main St., Springfield, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born September 8, 1917 in Washington Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Worley and Isa Mae (Adknison) Lay. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Cornishville Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Darcye Wohner of Harrodsburg, KY, Betty Watts of Lawrenceburg, KY; three sisters, Wilma Mobley of Harrodsburg, KY, Virginia Isham of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Aimee Ross of Springfield, KY; and two brothers, Leo Lay of Willisburg, KY, Hollis Lay of IL; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 03:00 PM, 5/20/2005, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John McDaniel. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: David Mobley, Jerry Lay, Tony Lay, Paul Coleman Lay, Monte Meadows, and Mark Isham.
Honorary Danny Lay, Connie Dale Ross, Brad Meadows, Ricky & Larry Lay.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 19 after 6:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY & prior to the service on Friday.
