Nicholas Huff Nicholas Cox “NicK” Huff, age 84, 505 Old Dixville Rd., Harrodsburg, husband of Mary McCrystal Huff, died Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born October 8, 1920 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Herbert and Oma (Cox) Huff. He served during World War II in the Army. He ran the Huff & McCrystal Garage. Nick was a member of the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. Survivors in addition to his wife: Mary (McCrystal) Huff are; one daughter: Judy (Paul) Logue of Harrodsburg, KY and one son: Scott Huff of Harrodsburg, KY; a Granddaughter, Tammy (Varnie) Reed; and a Great Grandson, Tanner Reed; A Number Of Nieces & Nephews,. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Huff and two brothers, Lawrence and Thomas Huff. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 22 at the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church by Father Joseph Muench and Burial will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Ricky McCrystal, Steve McCrystal, Jeff McCrystal, Kevin Carter, Robbie Brown and Bill Huff. Honorary bearers are Charles Hatcher, Chester Gabhart, Bob Bodinof, David Taylor and Tom Denny, Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Nicholas Cemetery Fund.
