James Stinnett, Jr., age 72, 1194 Mackville Rd., Harrodsburg, died Friday, July 8, 2005 at Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY. Born January 27, 1933 in Nicholasville, KY, he was the son of the late J. W. and Florence (Lowry) Stinnett. He was a Marine Corps. veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the KY State Road Department and had also worked for Mullins Heating and Air Conditioning in Lexington, KY. Mr. Stinnett loved history and was a wood carving enthusiast. Survivors include: one daughter, Clara Jean (Ronnie) Moore of Harrodsburg, KY; and one son, Charles Edward (Kim) Stinnett of Harrodsburg, KY; two sisters, Goldie Miller & JoAnn Atwell both of Nicholasville, KY and two brothers, Chester Stinnett & Melvin Stinnett both of Nicholasville, KY; 11 Grandchildren & 11Great Grandchidren. Funeral services will be held 02:00 PM Sunday, 7/10/2005, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gary Story. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday, July 10 after 9:00 am at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice, P.O.
