Elmer Jenkins

Elmer Jenkins, age 70, 740 Horse Ridge Rd., Stanford, died Thursday, July 28, 2005 at his residence.

Born August 26, 1934 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Charlie P. and Dovie (Hardin) Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a retired farmer and also worked at Gateway of Harrodsburg for a number of years. He was a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two sisters: Edith Nowlin of Danville, KY, Margaret Lester of Harrodsburg, KY and three brothers: Buford Jenkins of Stanford, KY, James Jenkins of Lexington, KY, Earl Jenkins of Versailles, KY and several Nieces And Nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday,7/30/2005, at Burgin Memorial Garden by Kenneth Whitehouse.

Visitation will be Friday, July 29 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.

Memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society or the Cardinal Hill Hospital.
