Cosby Maurice Cosby, 87, of 573 Lynn Dr., Harrodsburg, KY died Saturday June 21, 2003 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY. Born July 20, 1915 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Everett and Cornelia Sanders Cosby. Maurice was married to Zelma Mae Demaree Cosby. Mr. Cosby was a retired Carpenter and Farmer, he also was a Corning Glass employee for a few years. He was a member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Chruch . Surviving are: wife: Zelma Mae Demaree Cosby , son: Maurice Ronald Cosby Muncie, IN daughter: Geraldine Cheak Lexington, KY daughter: Ruth Ann Conover Harrodsburg, KY brother: Bruce Cosby Danville, KY brother: Owen Cosby Bloomington, IN sister: Vivian Yates Louisville, KY sister: Christine Shook , WI sister: Mary Ann Carey Harrodsburg, KY grandchildren: Eight (8) , great grandchildren: Seven (7) , predeceased brother: Paul , predeceased sisters: Edna, Georgia, Irene And Lois , Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday June 23, 2003 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel,Harrodsburg, KY, with James Owens and Elwood Norton officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel from 5-8 PM Sunday and prior to service Monday,. Casketbearers will be Ron Cosby, II., William Maurice Cheak, Jeff Cheak, Michael Yoder, Cary Fehlinger, Caleb Conover Honorary Bearers: J. B. Claunch, Garland Hoskins, Davis Burrus, Doc McKinney Memorials: Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church or Church Cemetery Fund.
