Susie Faye Merriman Susie Faye Merriman, age 65, Burgin, wife of Wilmer Lee ´Buck´ Merriman, died Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born January 20, 1940 in Marion County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Lee Webb Tate. She was married to Wilmer Lee ´Buck´ Merriman. Susie was a retired inspector for Corning Glass Inc and a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband are; one daughter: Rita (Keith) Monson of Burgin, KY and one son: Jimmy (Grace) Cloyd of Danville, KY; two sisters: Ester Carey of Mercer County, KY, Vergie (Larry) Richards of Harrodsburg, KY; and one brother: Jay (Karen) Tate of Leesburg, AL; a Step Son, David Lee Merriman of Boston, MA; a Step Daughter, Teresa Nater of Orlando, FL; a Granddaughter, Leeann Turner and a Grandson, Brian Monson; 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, September 16 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. Joe Smith and Burial will be in the Burgin Memorial Garden. Pallbearers are: Layne Tipton, Farris Cameron, Lee Horner, Larry Richards, Paul Hensley, Richard Cheak, Sonny Thompson, Joe Monson and Craig Baughman. Visitation will be Thursday, September 15 after 6:00 PM and prior to the service on Friday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Shakertown Baptist Church, 2894 Lexington Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
