Jack Davis Robinson

Jack Davis “J.D.” Robinson, age 81, of Burgin, husband of Verna Ellen Woods Robinson, died Monday, October 10, 2005 at his home in Burgin, KY.

Born October 13, 1923 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late Roy and Verna (Currens) Robinson. He was a carpenter and a member of the Shawnee Run Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife: Verna Ellen (Woods) Robinson, three daughters: Faye (Digger) O'Dell of Frankfort, KY, Wanda (Vance) Pinkston of Harrodsburg, KY, Vickie (Danny) Dunn of Georgetown, KY and one son: Ronnie (Vicki) Robinson of Salvisa, KY; 7 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren; three sisters: Adeline Keightley of Mercer Co., KY, Elberta Sea of Anderson Co., KY, Evelyn McGee of Jeffersontown, KY; and three brothers: Hubert Robinson of Lawrenceburg, KY, L.H. Robinson and Randall Robinson both of Mercer Co., KY; three Step Daughters, Donna Sexton of Harrodsburg, KY, Denise (Joe) Monson of Burgin, KY and Kathy (Keith) Hensley of Burgin, KY; two Step Sons, Kenny Robinson of Harrodsburg, KY and Chuck Robinson of Danville, KY; 10 Step Grandchildren ; Step 5 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother; Eugene Robinson.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 13 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are: Gayle Savage, Ben Bradley, Doug Robinson, Marty Long, Bobby Cecil Thurman, and David Bugg.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12 after 4:00 PM and Thursday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
