Juel Mobley
Juel Mobley, age 77, Harrodsburg, husband of Mary Frances Crawford Mobley, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Ctr. Born May 13, 1928 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Golden and Hettie (Hendren) Mobley. He was married to Mary Frances Crawford. He was a farmer, musician and a horseman. He was a member of the West End Church of Christ Where he served as a Deacon.
Survivors include: his wife: Mary Frances (Crawford) Mobley, one daughter: Janet (Bobby) Carter and one son: Jerry (Maude Ann) Mobley; two sisters: Florence Measel of Harrodsburg, KY and Mae Sallee of Louisville; three brothers: R.C. Mobley of Harrodsburg, KY, James Mobley of Louisville, KY and Donald Votaw of Lawrenceburg, KY, a Grandson, Tommy (Kelly) Bussell; Granddaughter, Karen Bronaugh; three Great Grandchildren, Chase Bronaugh, Ryan Bronaugh and Taylor Bussell. He was preceded in death by a twin brother and two sisters: Ruel Mobley, Vivian Goodlett, Mandy Votaw.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mike Crowe. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Arvid Tackett, Tommy Bussell, Jerry Ledford, Bruce Helm, Bill Robinson, Charlie Carr. Honorary Bearers are: Russ Moore, Bobby Joe Ellis, Darrell Ellis, Dale Ellis, John Helm, Eddie Kelly,Rob Kernodle, John Marcum, Maurice Maddox, Doug Pendygraft, Benny Peyton, Randy Richardson, Dallas Taylor, and Fred Wisner.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 27 after 5:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
