Charles Edward Keller, age 89, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born December 3, 1915 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Dieter) Keller, and the widower of Ruby Hanby Keller. Mr. Keller was a retired farmer and attended the Bohon Christian Church. He was a longtime member of the Mercer County Farm Bureau, where he had served as treasurer. He was also a former member of the Mercer County ASC Committee. He loved horses and purple Martins. Survivors include: one daughter: Ruby Ann (Douglas) Becker of Louisville, KY; and two sons: James E. (Ruth) Keller and Gary H. (Pat) Keller both of Harrodsburg, KY; ; Grandchildren, Six (6) ; Step Grandchildren, Two (2) ; Great Grandchidren, Five (5) ; Step Great Grandchildren, Three (3) ; Step Great Great Grandchildren, Two (2) . He was predeceased by eight (8) Siblings. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, 11/1/2005, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. James Harley and Bro. Bill Ransford. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers: Eric Keller, Ricky Keller, Sonny Terhune, Wesley Becker, Mike Keller and Brad Burchett. Honorary Bearers: Bruce Harper, Mike Conover, Bart Becker, Buddy and Steve Terhune. Visitation will be Monday, October 31st after 5:00 PM. and Tuesday prior to the service at the chapel.
