Martha Satterly Martha Satterly, age 77, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Harrodsburg Health Care Ctr., Harrodsburg, KY. Born September 27, 1928 in Mackville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Hattie Mae (Sims) Curtsinger and the widow of J. C. Satterly. She was a retired Seamstress at Cricketeer Mfg. Co.& Mercer Dress and also was Crossing Guard at Harrodsburg High School for many years. She was a member of the Dry Branch Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include: one daughter: Kim (Raymond) Burton of Harrodsburg, KY; and one son: Dale (Joan) Satterly of Harrodsburg, KY; two brothers: Truman (Loretta) Curtsinger of Harrodsburg, KY, Odell (Mildred) Curtsinger of Austin, TX; Sister-in-Law, Minnie Curtsinger; Grandchildren: Holly W. Abbott, John Burton, Chris Satterly; Great Grandchidren, Three (3) ; Step Grandchildchildren: Jessica Bloyd and Buddy Burton. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, November 2, 2005, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Collier and Geoff Barrett & Tim Gray. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Bill Carey, Carroll Gritton, Ryan Childers, Brad Richmond, Brent Curtsinger, Mickey Gilliland. Honorary Bearers will be: Johnny Thornton, Judd Barrett, Hugh Satterly, Glenn Peavler, and Garnett Peavler, Jr. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1 after 5:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
