Alma S. Reynolds, age 94, 140 Baxter Rd, Salvisa, widow of Arthur Delbert Reynolds Jr, died Monday, December 5, 2005 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY. Born May 5, 1911 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Elva (Burns) Sanford. She operated Reynolds Nursery for many years and was a member of the Bohon Church of Christ but in recent years attended Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include: a son: Harold L. & Faye Reynolds of Salvisa, KY; a Step Son, Walter Delbert Reynolds of Salvisa, KY a sister: Naomi Hatchett of Marretta, GA; a Daughter-in-law, Lona Ann Reynolds; two Granddaughters, Ronda Chagan and Sherry Lancaster; a Grandson, Arthur D. Reynolds III; 3 Step Grandchildren, ; 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son; Arthur W. Reynolds. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, December 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Brian Burkhead and Kenneth Preston, burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Steven Baxter, Larry Baxter, Jason Chagan, Arthur Reynolds, Wess Reynolds and Paul Wayne Peavler. Honorary Bearers are to be Members of her Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Thursday, December 8 from 4-8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Terrapin Volunteer Fire Department.
