Rodney Evans Click, age 36, 465 Bondville Road, Salvisa, husband of Virginia Ginny Click, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
Born May 11, 1969 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of Ronnie Wayne Click and Eudell Evans Click. He was married to Virginia Ginny Lee Akers. He was a Truck Driver and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Rodney was a very active parent; he coached Minor League Baseball, Little League Football, and King Middle School Football. He was also a Mercer County High School Band Parent and was very active supporter of the Marching Band.
Survivors in addition to his parents and wife include:, three daughters: Krystle Nicole Click, Whitney Lauren Click, of Harrodsburg and Tara Lee of Mt Washington, KY; one son: Robert Wayne Click; one sister: Rhonda Dale Click of Lawrenceburg, KY; Paternal Grandmother, Vivian Roney Click of Harrodsburg, KY; Nephew, Billy D. Whittaker II of Harrodsburg, KY; Niece, Randi E. Whittaker of Harrodsburg, KY. He was predeceased by a brother, Randy W. Click, paternal grandfather, W.J. Click, and maternal grandparents James & Margaret Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Sunday, December 18 at the Salvisa Baptist Church by Jason Clark, John Mark Johnson and Dr. Thomas Doyle, Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Bill Cornish, Jerry Mattingly, Jeff Rogers, Chris Curtsinger, Rony Click, John Chilton and Cecil Buchannon.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 17 after 4:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
