Obituary of Nancy Mayes Proctor

Nancy Mayes Proctor, age 43, 371 Cornishville St., Harrodsburg, wife of Hobert Proctor, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, December 17, 2005 at her home. Born September 2, 1962 in Washington Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Mayes and Vergie (Phillips) Dean. She worked in Quality Control at Trim Masters inc., Harrodsburg, and was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Waynesburg. Survivors other than her husband include: a mother-in-law, Margaret Votaw Proctor of Mercer Co., KY; 1 step brother, Carl Chris Watts of Lexington, KY; 3 step sisters, Aileen Withered of Moores Hill, IN, Charlene Steele Timms of WI, and Mary Watts Ross of Harrodsburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, by Rev. James Harley. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: John Humphrey, Jessie Dean, Bobby Gray, Sonny Thompson, Benny Ross, and Ronnie Compton. Visitation will be and after 7:30 AM Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
