Garnett Lee Taylor, 86, of 620 N. Main, Harrodsburg, KY died Thursday March 13, 2003 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born April 9, 1916 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence and Rethea Tyler Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a retired Brown And Williamson Tobacco Co.employee. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church .
Surviving are:
daughter: Wanda (Herm) Mergard, Harrodsburg, KY
daughter: Brenda (Tony) Gowins, Harrodsburg, KY
son: Donald Taylor, Harrodsburg, KY
Five grandchildren;
Twelve great grandchildren;
predeceased brothers: Cecil And Everett Taylor
predeceased sister: Edith LaVera
Funeral services will be held 02:00 PM Monday March 17, 2003 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY, with Gary Story officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation after 5:00 PM Sunday and 7:30 AM Monday.
