Obituary of Mary Helen Horsley

Mary Helen Horsley, age 74, 513 Ada Dr., Harrodsburg, died Sunday, December 25, 2005 in Danville from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash.
Born June 26, 1931 in Ammons, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Cora (Bennett) Dutschke and was the widow of Rev. Joseph Lee Horsley. She was a bookkeeper at Mercer Motors for 20 plus years and was a member of and pianist for the Temple Baptist Church, Danville.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis McMullin of Harrodsburg, KY; three sons, Darrell Horsley of Cincinnati, OH and Dale Horsley of Georgetown, KY and Kevin Glenn Horsley of Harrodsburg who later died of injuries sustained in the same crash; four sisters, Pearl Moore of Louisville, KY, Evelyn Staley of Clearwater, FL, Virginia Mcholan of Cochran, GA, and Lois Walls of Hardinsburg, KY; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday at the Temple Baptist Church by Dr. Darrell Horsley and Dr. James McCarroll. Burial will be in the , Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, December 29 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY, and Friday after 11:00 am at Church.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Joseph Horsley Memorial Scholarships, Temple Baptist College, 11965 Kenn Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45240.
